Kemptown Community Safety Action Group

The Kemptown Stay Safe Picnic

August 10, 2010

Our Kemptown Community Safety Action Group meeting was held as the “Kemptown Stay Safe Picnic” on Thursday 15th July on Upper Bedford Street. We had Trading Standards, Health Trainers, Local PCSO’s, Communities against Drugs and the Community Safety Team. We also had mobile phone registering, bike frame marking and free cakes, sausage rolls and drinks.

The weather turned out to be nice and sunny for the afternoon and we managed to meet quite a few members of the public. The PCSO’s were kept busy with mobile phone registering, Trading Standards handed out lot’s of leaflets and the Community Safety Team managed to get lot’s of questioners filled in. The sausage rolls and cakes went down really well.
A big thank you to everyone who turned up on the day, staff and the public alike and an extra special thanks’ to Chris Mundy who made and cooked the food.

Fear of Anti-Social Behavior
